In the early hours of the morning(8.30am), the sun just about peeking up from behind a building,nurses reporting in for work on a this beautiful Tuesday the 13th of July 2010.

The very popular Dr.Divakaran,my gyneacologist of choice operates only in Ipoh,Perak. And yes I choose to travel 2hours everytime for my check up.have been doing it for 10years or so.If you think about it,travelling anywhere at peak hours in KL takes about 2 hours anyways.


The small little clinic that is run by about 3 or 4 senior nurses who reminds me to call at 8.30am on the day of my visits to take a number for my turn everytime.Its very important because a secured number ensures a session with the very busy doctor.

Comforting a scared soul.Smiling is just to camoflauge fear.


This is most importantly special at all Specialist hospitals.Definately a no money no talk place. Lucky for me i got credit card and insurance.(Prudential-made me pay 10% of bill.)

Checked in at room 9.New trainee cashier so it took awhile.

My ticket number was 3004......eeeeee.......lucky I not so chinese superstitiuos laaa...not a good number to get for surgery.

Hospital was not so busy. However we had to wait in the general ward inside a unhealthy looking 'spare' room with like 10 other sick patients for about 2 hours because all the rooms were full. Not so impress as i was expecting first class treatment for the price i was paying RM250 a night(room only).
