Bathroom. I dont think patients comfort is considered in most hospital bathrooms. It is just another regular bathroom with no special aides or technology to reduce the discomfort of the patient.Having done my laproscopy surgery and having zero pain tolerance, every possibility that might induce pain or discomfort is magnified a thousand times in my case.SO I must complain about the toilet.Toilet is a little to far from the bed.The long walk kills! The floor tiles are too slippery. The sink is way too low when bending is impossible. The toilet bowl is also way to low when sitting requires bending which requires the use of the stomach muscle which should not exist at the moment after surgery. The toilet paper is beyond reach(about 1 meter away, how to stretch when I couldnt even scratch??!!)The bidet is way behind me which requires a rock and roll twist and shout action!!And then ther is the nightmare of having to stand up again after one is done with the exercise routine. If you look closely at the photo, you will notice the bars for support are placed at really odd places completely useless to the patient in pain.(maybe its for hanging towels?)Also the toilet has this little perfume squirt boxes on timer. It lets out a spray of perfumed air which tickles my air passages and causes sneezing!!
The General Ward.My fear was to contact airborne germs.I was absolutely healthy.Requested to be in the maternity ward because of lower contamination risk but it was full.Sat around this area for about 2 hours waiting for my room in the general ward.

yes, must admit to your list of complaints .. toilet definitely NOT ergonomically designed! Just any how "bantai" only .... railing here there .... more suffering just THINKING of using the toilet!
